Lush 3x6 Dune

I had been looking at all of the tile selections at Modwalls for about two years. I had also looked around at lots of other options. I ordered 5 samples, then called back and ordered some more. I asked the opinion of any person that walked into my kitchen while I secretly leaned towards my favorite – Lush 3x6 in DUNE color. I sent pictures of my existing kitchen to Sarah Graves in Customer Service, and she and I finalized our decision. After the product was received, Sarah and I discussed the four different ways one could install the tiles (such flexibility!) and I chose a contemporary style. All I can say is WOW. My kitchen looks stunning! I have no idea why I waited, or why I was hesitant at all!! Perhaps I was overwhelmed with all of the choices at Modwalls, I don’t know. But the end result is simply fabulous. We love to dim the lights in the evening and admire our new backsplash in the kitchen. Thanks to Modwalls for a superior product, and special thanks to Sarah Graves for all of her patience and great advice.

We love our tile -- installed on our shower walls in a running brick pattern. The color is beautiful, but the tile is neutral enough to fit in well with the rest of the colors in the bathroom. Installation was a bit difficult given that the tile arrived on the mesh backing, but we used a professional tile installer who did a great job. It would be useful if the tile came with more instructions (including tips on how to drill into the glass tile if needed for hanging shelves etc). We found Modwalls incredibly easy to deal with -- very accessible by phone and email, and it was great that the tile arrived so quickly. Our only complaint is that you ran out of the Dune tiles, so when we needed a bit extra, nothing was available. Luckily, we were able to just complete our shower walls with the original amount ordered so it didn't cause us any problems this time around -- but I was disappointed upon hearing that you wouldn't have any additional tile available for quite some time. If we hadn't had enough, it would have really messed up our project (timing, payment to contractor etc).

While we used this Dune tile along with 3 other colors, I would definitely consider this tile by itself as a gorgeous neutral when you are accenting rich furniture or fixtures. We found the quality of these beautiful 3x6 glass tiles to be excellent and our intaller was very happy to work with them. Happy installers yield a nicer installation and better quality materials usually cost less to install. We were very pleased with the entire process. ModWalls deserves the highest commendation.

The tile is beautiful. Installation, however, requires an experienced tile guy and extra labor due to the uneven sizing (both directions). So when laying a running bond pattern, it's very easy to get an uneven line without tile experience. When done well, the effect is stunning.
