  • Q. How long will it take to receive my order of samples?
  • A. Sample orders ship via USPS Priority Mail and arrive anywhere in the US in 1-3 business days from date shipped. Orders are shipped within 2 business days.

  • Q. How long will it take for me to receive my tile?
  • A. Orders are shipped within two business days. Actual transit time will vary based on the delivery address.

Installation:

  • Q. How can I drill a hole in glass tile?
  • A. Use a diamond drill bit that is especially designed to drill glass, not a carbide bit. Use a diamond hole saw bit to drill holes 1/4"e; and larger or to drill holes in thick glass. Use plenty of lubrication/coolant to keep your drill tip cool and the hole clean. Use less pressure! Let your drill bit work at it's own pace. You are really grinding the glass away to make a hole. Start diamond hole saws at 600-900 RPM. Start diamond drill bits at 2500-5000 RPM. Using a drill press will allow you to control speed and pressure more exactly. Securely clamp the tile to support the back of the tile and to prevent movement during the drilling process. Wear gloves and eye protection in case the glass breaks. Drilling from both sides of the tile helps to prevent the glass from chipping as the drill bit exits the tile. Start with the back and drill halfway through and then turn the tile over to complete the hole.

  • Q. Do I need to use a sealer on my tile or grout?
  • A. You don't have to use a sealer, but it is highly recommended. Grout is very porous and is prone to staining if not sealed. Sealing helps to prevent stains and dirt from penetrating into the grout and makes it easier to clean. A sealer also helps to prevent mold and mildew growth. Sealer should be used after the grout is cured, approximately 48 - 72 hours after grouting.

  • Q. I was wondering if your subway Lush tiles are safe on backsplash behind stove...as my Viking generates a lot of heat?
  • A. Yes, Lush subway tiles are safe to install on backsplashes behind stoves. Stoves are designed for installation in kitchens with just drywall behind them so they won’t generate enough heat to damage the wall, with or without tile.

Maintenance:

  • Q. How should I clean my glass tile?
  • A. Glass tiles are easy to clean by wiping with a damp cloth as you would any wall or ceiling. To remove stubborn stains use a commercial nonabrasive cleaner like window cleaner or a solution of soap less detergent. The surface should be scrubbed, rinsed thoroughly with clean water and dried.
