We’re proud to offer Clayhaus for modwalls®, a new collaboration of ceramic tile handcrafted in the USA. Our collection consists of ultra-mod 2x8 smooth glazed ceramic subway tile in seven colors exclusively for modwalls®, as well as our “Plus” shape tile, a unique ceramic tile design you won’t find anywhere else. Well-suited for indoor applications, with this ceramic tile you can create your ideal kitchen backsplash design, or customize the bathroom of your dreams!

All modwalls® ceramic subway tiles and “Plus” shape tiles are 100% handcrafted in the USA. Each individual tile is unique. Care is taken to ensure the highest quality of workmanship goes into every step of creating this artisan tile, from clay extrusion, to hand cutting, to hand-applied glazes. Custom tile colors are possible and have a lead time of about 4-6 weeks.

Matching trim pieces are perfect for finishing tile edges and can be used with 2x8 subway tile or the “Plus” design tiles.

Imagine how excited I was when I found that could create my own Brio glass tile backsplash from modwalls® in the colors and the pattern I envisioned! We are creating a lake house / retirement house by remodeling a 70 year old cottage bit by bit. The tiles and percentages we chose were sent as a sample to us within a week, and we were able to then match the sample to the cherry cabinets and floors we had chosen. It all was finished last week…and the tiles were the first products to arrive after ordering! Every time we walk into the kitchen, we smile.

I instantly fell in love with the Brio Atomic Ranch Midcentury Palette tile because of the fun pop of vibrant red-orange against the more conservative greys and white. I figured--what better way to make the staid laundry room more interesting? And the choice went great with the modern aesthetic of the rest of our home. The small scale tiles were a perfect fit for the size of the space. And with two kids under age four, clean up will be a breeze. I can't walk into my laundry room without feeling happy--I'm not sure many people can say that!
